The 5 major trends in digital consumption: challenges and opportunities for retailers.

The FEVAD (Fédération du e-commerce et de la vente à distance), created in 1957, today federates nearly 500 companies in the world of distance selling (Internet, catalogue, mail order, telephone...) and nearly 600 websites. As the representative organisation of the e-commerce and distance selling sector, FEVAD, in collaboration with Médiamétrie/NetRatings, has published its 8th barometer on the purchasing behaviour of Internet users and the evolution of digital consumption.

Five major trends stand out; all of them are challenges for a whole section of the French and European economy, particularly in the current context.
